LOS GATOS, Calif. (AP) — Roku Inc. (ROKU) on Wednesday reported a loss of $25.2 million in its third quarter.
The Los Gatos, California-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 28 cents per share.
The video streaming company posted revenue of $260.9 million in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $258.1 million.
For the current quarter ending in December, Roku said it expects revenue in the range of $380 million to $396 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.1 billion to $1.11 billion.
Roku shares have more than quadrupled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $141.05, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
