Douglas and Judie Scrivener, Pine Valley, N.Y. (formerly of Waverly) would like to announce the marriage of their daughter, Amanda Marie to Senior Airman Steven Scott, son of Christine Brockway and step-father Floyd Brockway and the late Vernon Scott. 
The wedding took place Friday Aug. 8, 2008 at the Elmira Heights Court House at 8 p.m. with Helen Wilson presiding. Maid of honor was Samantha Henley of Waverly and best man was Fred Hepfner of Elmira. The wedding dinner was held at Tanino Ristorante Italiano in Horseheads.
The Bride graduated from Waverly High School in 2005 and was employed at Things Remembered and Louies Hanover Square. 
The Groom graduated from Groton High School in 2000.  He was a specialist in the U.S. Army and served in Iraq.
He has re-enlisted with the Air Force National Guard. The couple will reside in Syracuse and then be stationed in Biloxi, Miss.
