Paul and Carol Robinson were honored with a surprise 50th wedding anniversary celebration at the Milan Methodist Church. They are pictured with their son, daughter and three grandchildren. On Saturday, June 29, the family of Paul and Carol Robinson held a surprise 50th wedding anniversary party for them at the Milan Methodist Church. To help mark the milestone 50th anniversary, Rep. Tina Pickett was invited to present a citation from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

The former Carol Ashe became the bride of Paul Dean Robinson on June 28, 1969 at the Milan Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry Barringar. Paul and Carol met while attending Athens High School, which they both graduated from.

Paul entered military after high school and was honorably discharged and then started working at IBM in Owego, N.Y., and retired from Lockheed Martin after 40 years of service. Carol worked as an LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) at the Robert Packer Hospital for 25 years. She retired from nursing and worked as a preschool teacher for 10 years at the Athens Wesleyan Church.

They currently enjoying retirement by traveling and doing things they enjoy.
