Rosemary (Hanifin) Watson, 83, of Vestal, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Monday, October 24, 2011 at Ideal Senior Living Center in Endicott. Rosemary was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Edna Hanifin and a special friend Ken Slickland.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Watson and five children, Michael (and wife, Pat) Watson of Athens, Pa.; Terry (and wife, Lisa) Watson of Vestal, N.Y.; Chris (and wife, Kim) Watson of Oviedo, Fla.; Sue (and husband, Mark) Serino of Endicott, N.Y.; Jeff (and wife, Kim) Watson of Holly Springs, N.C., and 12 grandchildren, Amy (and husband, Adam) Reinhold, Jenni (and husband, Troy) Martzall, Rick (and wife, Heather) Watson, Sarah Watson and Tristan Reilly, Troy and Leena Watson, Rheannon and Shaunna Serino, Courtney and Connor Watson, Tyler and Caden Watson and great-grandchild, Roman Reilly.

Her smile and clever wit will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank her friends and caregivers at Ideal Senior Living Center. Funeral services will be held for Rosemary at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St. in Endicott. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 28h from 4– 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Rosemary’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
