Flood leads to construction of barrier wall along river bank

ATHENS BOROUGH — Borough officials and workers are taking preventative measures with the Susquehanna River bank to reduce the impact of future flooding. The measures consist of building a wall of concrete barricades on top of the river bank, thereby raising its height.
