Lynne-Marie Ferreira, 55, of Athens, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at home, following an extended illness.

Born on February 13, 1956, in Melbourne, Fla., the daughter of the late Sidney and Elizabeth Quinn Daniels.

Lynne was a former LPN who worked with Hospice patients. She enjoyed vacationing and going out to eat with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Richard D. Ferreira, of 15 years at home; daughter, Katie-Marie (and husband, Christopher) Carpenter of Athens; three stepdaughters, Angela (and huband, Danny) Headd of Foxboro, Mass., Dani’ele (and husband, Aaron) Day of Lompoc, Cali., and Tina (and husband, Melvin) Dilts of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Emerald Dawn Ferreira, Cydney Grimes, Tyce Day, Dominic and Jayden Day, and Brandon and Ryan Geddings (Brandon and Ryan are currently serving in Afghanistan); several greatgrandchildren; sister, Betty (and husband, Fred) Sindoni of Sayre; several aunts and uncles; niece Missy Sindoni (with partner, Matthew Chapman) of Sayre, and nephews Michael and Kelly Sindoni of Athens, and Cody, Connor and Logan Sindoni.

Friends and family may call Sunday, November 6, 2011, from 11 a.m. to noon, at the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home on Desmond Street in Sayre with the Rev. Vincent Langan officiating. Burial will follow at the Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Pa.
