Sen. Ben Nelson retiring, dealing blow to Dems
LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska said Tuesday he will retire rather than seek a third term next year, dealing a significant setback to Democratic efforts to maintain control of the chamber.
