RESIDENTIAL SEWER RATES WILL NOT INCREASE
ATHENS TOWNSHIP — The Athens Township Authority recently announced that it will not be increasing residential sewer rates in 2012.
The authority’s 2012 budget contains plans to spend over $250,000 for the upgrade of pump stations and montoring devices to increase the effeciency of the system and reduce potential problems, said authority members.
