Gloria (Lillian) Seamon of Waverly, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2012.
A time of gathering with family and friends will be 11 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York. The celebration of Gloria’s life with the Rev. Diane Bentley will be honoring her memory at 11 a.m. A special tribute to Gloria’s life will be presented on DVD during the funeral service.

Malfatti services held
A memorial Mass for Frank Louis Malfatti, 91, of 305 N. Elmer Ave., Sayre, Pa., was held Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. at the Epiphany Parish, South Elmer Ave., Sayre, Pa., with the Rev. Vincent Langan as celebrant. Interment was in Tioga Point Cemetery in Athens, PaA. Skiff- Bower VFW Post 1536, Sayre, Pa., accorded full military honors at the cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond St., Sayre, Pa.
Bohlayer services held
A very well attended funeral services for Fred J. “Buddy” Bohlayer III, were held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the First Church of God, Sayre. The Rev. Dewey Jeffrey, pastor, officiated. Jamie Wilkinson sang, “Because He Lives,” “One Day at a Time,” and “A Picture of Me Without You.” Marilyn Jeffrey read the poem, “Remember Me” and provided music during the service. Burial was in the Tioga Point Ceremony, Athens. Pallbearers were Dave, Sonny, Richard, and Mark Whipple, Rob Roof and Mark Frisbie.
Hart
Marina Kmita Hart, age 87, formerly of Nichols, N.Y., died Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center after a month-long illness. Interment prayers and burial will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery, Utica, N.Y., on Monday, January 30, at 11 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial contribution. Donations to “Grace Lutheran Church in memory of Marina Hart” will be directed to a mission in India that was near and dear to her heart.
