David Erwin Myers Sr. passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at The Highlands Nursing Home, in Laporte, Pa.

Born February 24, 1944, in Waverly, N.Y., the son of Eva (Grant) and the Late Erwin Myers. David was also predeceased by his son Michael Myers.

David worked for over 20 years as a custodian at the Sayre Lingerie Company in Sayre. He was an avid fisherman, loved to read Louis L’Amour novels, making repairs on small engines, and loved a party.

Surviving David are his children, Tammy Myers, of Greenfield, Mass., Shiela Fay, of Waverly, and David (Stacy) Myers, of Endicott, N.Y. He is also survived by five grandchildren his brothers, Gary, Tommy, and Lloyd, his sisters, Judy and Debbie and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Church of the Nazarene, 18 Lincoln Street, Waverly, N.Y., at 11 a.m. Arrangements are with the Luckner Funeral Home, 449 Park Avenue, Waverly, N.Y.
