George D. Boyle, 74, of Sing Sing Rd. Horseheads passed away after a brief illness on Sat. Jan 28, 2012 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center.

Family and friends are invited to call at the Barber Funeral Home 413 S. Main St. Horseheads on Wed. Feb. 1, 2012 from 4-7:00 p.m.

His service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thurs. Feb. 2, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with burial service to follow with military honors accorded by the Marine Corps League in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Dorothy Stalford Duford, 77, of Chemung View Apartments, Athens, Pa., passed away Wednesday evening January 25, 2012 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Alteri- Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond Street, Sayre, Pa. with Chaplain Linda Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in the Monroeton Cemetery, Monroeton, Pa. There are no calling hours.

After courageously fighting a long illness, Marie Czebiniak died peacefully at her home in Lockwood, New York on January 28, 2012.

Gloria (Lillian) Seamon of Waverly passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2012. She was born in Great Bend, Pa. The daughter of the late Clarence and Esther Boyle Warren.

Atime of gathering with family and friends was 11 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York. The celebration of Gloria’s life was with the Rev. Diane Bentley whom honored her memory at 11 a.m. A special tribute to Gloria’s life was presented on DVD during the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one’s favorite charity. Burial was in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Pennsylvania.
