Ayers

Kenneth Leslie Ayers, 92, of South Hill Road, Wyalusing, Orwell Twp., Pa., passed away Monday morning, March 5, 2012, at his home.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 8, 2012, at noon at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave. Towanda, Pa., with the Rev. Daniel Orshaw, his nephew, officiating.

Interment will follow in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, Pa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.

The family suggests that contributions may be directed to the H.O.P.S. Ambulance Association, in care of James W. Seipler, Secretary-Treasurer, 606 Ridge Road, Rome, Pa. 18837 in Kenneth’s memory.

Daniel William Cheney, 47, affectionately known as “Danny,” formerly of Waverly, N.Y., found peace as he went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 4, 2012.

Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Streets, on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be mailed to Donna Grey at P.O. Cynthia J. Bostwick, Age 88, of Athens, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa.
