Beverly D. Gilluly
Beverly D. Gilluly, age 84, formerly of Perry, N.Y., died March 11, 2012 at the Sayre Health Care Center, formerly the Sayre House in Sayre, Pa.
She was born March 24, 1927 in Short Tract, N.Y., daughter of the late Elmer and Elsie Gleabe Fridley. Beverly was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years and was a member of the Perry Center Congregational Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother. She had a love of plants and was well known for her African violets.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Frederick Gilluly who died in 2008.
Surviving are her children, Sheila (Robert) Welch of Coudersport, Pa., Frederick (Fely) Gilluly of Augusta, Ga., Ann (Matt) Klinger of Athens, Pa.; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Brenda, Eric, Jake and Benjamin Kelly, Lois and Roger Kelly, Gloria and Don Reed, Ann Towner, Sally Bowles.
She was predeceased by four sisters and one brother.
Friends may call Thursday 3 to 5 p.m. at Harmon-Watson Funeral Home, 35 N. Main St., Castile, where an Eastern Star service will be held immediately following calling hours followed by her funeral service. Private burial will be held at West Perry Cemetery, Perry.
