Lenox services held
Awell-attended Mass of Christian Burial for Rose H. Lenox, 80, beloved wife of James F. Lenox of 505 Wesauking Drive, Towanda, was held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Third Street, Towanda, Pa., with the Rev. Edward Michelini, pastor, as celebrant. Concelebrants were the Rev. Martin M. Boylan, the Rev. John J. Chmil, the Rev. John M. Kita, and the Rev. Vincent F. Langan. Music was provided by Joel and Sue Christian. Altar servers were John and Mary Alice Demangone. The pall was placed on the casket by Katie and Dan Lenox, and Greg and David Storch. The Old Testament scripture reading was read by Kathy Lenox. The New Testament scripture reading was read by David Lenox. Prayers of the Faithful were led by Rosemary Lenox Hoffmann. Giftbearer’s were grandchildren Jacob, Regina, and Benjamin Hoffman. Reflections of Rose’s life were shared by her daughter Rosemary Hoffmann. Interment was in S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery, North Towanda Twp., Pa. Pallbearers were John May, Dick May, Joe Homan, Don Homan, Bill May, Jimmy Homan, Mike Bustin, and Pat Homan. A luncheon for family and friends was held in the church grotto following the cemetery service. Arrangements were under the direction of the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa.
