Andrew William Krapf, 73, of Lyle Road, Smithboro, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012, following a period of declining health.

Andy was born on March 25, 1939 in Amityville, N.Y. a son of the late Henry W. and Marie (Schwender) Krapf. On July 23, 1960, he married Phyllis and together they enjoyed nearly 52 year of marriage.

Andy is survived by his wife, Phyllis Pelham Krapf; his children: Christopher Krapf; Kathleen (Lawrence) Taylor; Andrew (Felicia) Krapf; a brother and sister-in-law: William and Trudy Krapf; sister, Marguerite “Peg” Wheeler; grandchildren: Raymond, Timothy, Christopher Jr., Zachary and Katelyn; a great grandson Elliott; several nieces, nephews and their families also survive.

Abiding with his wishes, services will be held at the convenience of the family.
