Arlene Beverly Craig Snedicor, age 86, peacefully went to be with her Lord while at home on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

Amemorial service will be held at North Waverly Chapel, 38 State Route 34, Waverly, N.Y., on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 7 p.m. The family request that relatives and friends wear red in memory of Arlene as red was Arlene’s favorite color.

A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Big Pond Cemetery.

The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Athens, Pa. Thanks to the many care aides, including Rachel Vandyke and Liz Hubert, for their help and support throughout her illness, as well as, family and friends for their support. We would also like to express appreciation to the Greater Valley Van and Ambulance Crew, the nurses on SW6 at the Robert Packer Hospital, and hospice home care aides for their kindness and compassion throughout.

Aline Eva Walborn, 87, of Sayre, Pa., passed away early Wednesday morning, April 4, 2012 at home.

The funeral and committal service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond St., Sayre, Pa., with Pastor Ronald Park of the Nichols Baptist Church officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, Pa.

Kring services held

The funeral service for Harold E. “Dutch” Kring, 92, of Sheshequin, Pa., was held Friday, April 6, 2012 at noon at the Bowen-Farr Funeral Home, Ulster, Pa., with the Rev. Sandy Brant, pastor of the Ulster United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in Bradford County Memorial Park, Luthers Mills, Pa. Pallbearers were Larry and Tim Rhinehart, Chad Cooley, Danny Kring and Dale Smith. A luncheon for family and friends was held at the Ulster United Methodist Church following the interment service.

Bacorn

Calvin C. Bacorn, 88, of Barton, N.Y., passed away peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital.

Friends and family may call on Saturday, April 7, 2012 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, Pa. Funeral services will follow at the Funeral Home at noon with the Rev. Linda Rogers officiating.

Burial will be in the Chemung Cemetery, Chemung, N.Y.

Kathryn Irene Skerpon Dugan, 98, passed away in her sleep just three weeks shy of her 99th birthday on April 5, 2012.

The family will receive friends Monday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Alteri-Bowen Funeral Home, 314 Desmond St., Sayre, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at the Epiphany Parish, South Elmer Avenue, Sayre, Pa. Interment will follow in the Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Athens Twp., Pa.

Jacob L. Feusner Jr., 87, of Struble Road, Athens, went to his heavenly home and to be reunited with his loving wife Clara on Thursday, March 29, 2012.
