Snedicor

Arlene Beverly Craig Snedicor, age 86, peacefully went to be with her Lord while at home on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

Amemorial service will be held at North Waverly Chapel, 38 State Route 34, Waverly, N.Y., on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 7 p.m. The family requests that relatives and friends wear red in memory of Arlene as red was Arlene’s favorite color.

Aprivate interment will be held at the convenience of the family at the Big Pond Cemetery.

The family is being assisted by Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, Pa. Thanks to the many care aides, including Rachel Vandyke and Liz Hubert, for their help and support throughout her illness, as well as, family and friends for their support. We would also like to express appreciation to the Greater Valley Van and Ambulance Crew, the nurses on SW6 at the Robert Packer Hospital, and hospice home care aides for their kindness and compassion throughout.

Robert (Bob) P. Crowley, 92, of Lake Frederick, VA, formerly of Athens, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at home with his family by his side.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Epiphany, 304 South Elmer Avenue, Sayre, Pa. with the Rev. Andrew Hvozdovic officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org) or a charity of your choice.

Thomas “Tom” Severn, 58, of Sayre, Pa. passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, Pa. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3pm at the Funeral Home.
