Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently sentenced in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas:

Jonathan Dunn, 36, Wysox, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 10 months to 23 months, probation supervision for a term of 37 months, for the offense of Indecent Assault with Victim under 13 years old, a felony of the third degree.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Dunn following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township on September 1, 2017.

Liam Jennings, 30, Towanda, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for nine months to 23 months, for the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Jennings following investigation of an incident that occurred in Wysox Township on July 31, 2018.

Melissa Cordner, 28, Wysox, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for three months to 12 months, followed by Probation Supervision for a term of 30 months, for the offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance, misdemeanor, Criminal Trespass, a felony of the third degree and Flight to Avoid Apprehension, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

The Bradford County Sherriff’s Office arrested Cordner for the offense occurring on April 16, 2019.

Barry Buhrman, 49, Wellsville, was sentenced to County Intermediate Punishment for five years; County Intermediate Punishment involves a combination of restrictions and supervision. It may include home confinement, electronic monitor, and substance abuse treatment. Violations can result in incarceration. Buhrman will pay fines of $2500.00, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, combination of alcohol and drugs, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Buhrman following investigation of an incident that occurred in Monroe Township on September 15, 2018.

Tristen Drake, 22, Columbia Cross Roads, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 72 hours to six months, fines of $1,000.00, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, (highest rate), a misdemeanor.

The Canton Borough Police Department arrested Drake for the offense occurring on May 13, 2018.

Antonio Vicente, 29, Canton, Georgia, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford Correctional Facility for 72 hours to 39 days, fines of $1000.00, he will also lose his driver’s license for 12 months, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor.

The Bradford County Sheriff’s Department arrested Vicente for the offense occurring on March 21, 2019.

Sara George, 34, Sayre, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 30 days to 18 months, for the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

The Athens Township Police Department arrested George for the offense occurring on September 15, 2017.

Jordan Frisbie, 25, Elmira, was resentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for 75 days to 18 months, fines of $400.00, plus court costs, for the offenses of Obstructing Administration of Law/Government Function, a misdemeanor of the second degree, and small amount of Marijuana, a misdemeanor.

The Athens Borough Police Department arrested Frisbie for the offense occurring on July 27, 2017.

Steven Benjamin, 51, Rome, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for five days to six months, fines of $1,500.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, (1st in 10)(4th in lifetime), a misdemeanor.

The Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Benjamin for the offense occurring on July 6, 2018.

Tracy Wickwire, 48, Wysox, was sentenced to incarceration in the Bradford County Correctional Facility for six months to 24 months, Probation Supervision for a term of 36 months, fines of $2,000.00, plus court costs, for the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, (2nd in 10), (high rate alcohol), misdemeanor of the first degree.

The Towanda Borough Police Department arrested Wickwire for the offense occurring on May 27, 2018.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons recently entered pleas of guilty in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas:

Kimberly Roy, 42, Ulster, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of two counts of Forgery, felonies of the third degree.

Roy will be sentenced on June 17, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Roy following investigation of an incident that occurred on Morris Road on January 15, 2019.

Amber Chandler, 28, Waverly, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of retail Theft, a felony of the third degree.

Chandler will be sentenced on a later date, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Athens Township Police Department arrested Chandler for the offense on January 31, 2019.

Adam Reese, 36, Wyalusing, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor.

Reese will be sentenced on June 24, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Reese following investigation of an incident that occurred in Orwell Township on August 18, 2018.

Alexander Johns, 27, Columbia Cross Roads, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Johns will be sentenced on June 13, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Johns following investigation of an incident that occurred in Columbia Township on January 17, 2019.

Stacie Lafritz, 22, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Receiving Stolen Property, a felony.

Lafritz will be sentenced on June 24, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Lafritz following investigation of an incident that occurred in Ridgebury Township on June 10, 2018.

Seth Winters, 41, Ulster, entered a plea of guilty to the offenses of Aggravated Assault, a felony of the second degree, Fleeing and Eluding, a felony of the third degree, Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor, and Resisting Arrest, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

Winters will be sentenced on June 24, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Winters following investigation of an incident that occurred in Sheshequin Township on December 8, 2018.

Nicole VanDyke, 28, Troy, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

VanDyke will be sentenced on May 30, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Troy Borough Police Department arrested VanDyke for the offense on November 24, 2018.

Antonio Vicente, 29, Canton, Georgia, entered a plea of guilty to the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Vicente will be sentenced on April 29, 2019, following preparation of a presentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department.

The Bradford County Sheriff’s Department arrested Vicente for the offense occurring on March 21, 2019.

Bradford County District Attorney Daniel J. Barrett reported that the following persons were recently accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program in the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas:

Laura Eddy, 20, Austinville, charged with the offense of Retail Theft, a misdemeanor of the first degree, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Eddy will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

The Athens Township Police Department filed the charges on November 3, 2018 for the offense in Athens Township.

Eric Fick, 26, Rome, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Fick will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

Additionally, Fick must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and he will lose his Pennsylvania driving privilege for 30 days.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Fick for an offense on September 29, 2018 in Wysox Township.

Kathleen Driscoll, 57, New Albany, charged with the offense of Theft by Unlawful Taking, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of 12 months. While on probation, Driscoll will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Driscoll for the offense on December 13, 2018, in Towanda PA.

Matthew Scott, 29, Locke, New York, charged with the offense of Corruption of Minors, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Scott will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Scott for the offense on July 28, 2018, at the Troy Fair.

Angela Kleese-Whipple, 48, Sayre, charged with the offense of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, was accepted into the ARD Program and placed on probation for a term of nine months. While on probation, Kleese-Whipple will be subject to supervision by the Bradford County Probation Department which supervision will include monitoring for drug or alcohol use.

Additionally, Kleese-Whipple must perform community service with the DUI Litter Brigade and attend a Victim Impact Panel and she will lose her Pennsylvania driving privilege for 60 days.

The Pennsylvania State Police arrested Kleese-Whipple for an offense on November 25, 2018 in Athens Township.

Bradford County District Attorney reported that the following entered a plea of “No Contest”. The plea has the same effect as a guilty plea. It is entered when a defendant cannot recall the crime charged:

Elmer Beidleman, 21, Sayre, entered a plea of nolo contendere/no contest to Simple Assault, a misdemeanor of the second degree.

Beidleman will be sentenced on June 24, 2019, following preparation of a pre-sentence report by the Bradford County Probation Department. A no-contest plea is entered where the defendant cannot recall the event but will be held guilty and sentenced.
