WYSOX — The 50th Anniversary Rock and Mineral Show will be hosted by the Che-Hanna Rock & Mineral Club on March 23 and 24.
The event will be held in the Wysox Volunteer Fire Company social hall. The hours are Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Of interest will be mineral and fossil displays. One special display will feature gold since this is the club’s 50th anniversary show.
There will be activities for kids of all ages. Another very popular feature is the fluorescent program presented by UVBob. He will show you how minerals glow in the dark.
Dealers will be selling minerals, fossils, lapidary , gems and jewelry. They will be happy to show you their products and answer your questions.
Admission to the show is adults $3, students $1 and children under 8 free. We hope to see you at the show.
