Chow for Children receives donation from Diocese of Scranton

The Diocese of Scranton provided a $5,000 check to the Chow for Children program last Thursday. Chow for Children is a child hunger combating organization out of the Valley Presbyterian Church in Waverly, via the Church of the Epiphany in Sayre on Thursday morning. The grant monies will be used to purchase food for local children in need and help supply Bradford/Tioga Head Start programs with meals over the summer.
