Masco Cabinetry donates to Salvation Army through dunk tank fundraiser

The Health and Safety Dept. at Masco Cabinetry, Sayre organized a Dunk a Manager Day to raise money for our local food pantry. Mark Ponzi, plant manager, Ana De Los Santos, HR manager, DeAndre Simmons, production manager and John Delancey, production supervisor volunteered to be dunked during employee lunches and shift change on Wednesday, June 5. Employees paid $1 per ball for the chance to dunk one of the volunteers. It was a good time and a lot of fun for the employees, however for most, it was an opportunity to give to the community. “We had employees donating money without taking the opportunity to throw a ball,” a Masco press release stated. In total, $357.00 was raised in 2.5 hours and donated to the Salvation Army in Sayre for the food pantry.
