Giving back on Thanksgiving

Throughout the day Thursday, volunteers and members of the Athens Township Police Benevolent Association and the Waverly Police Association delivered over 350 Thanksgiving meals to elderly shut-ins throughout the Valley. Out of the three-plus decades the holiday initiative has been going, this year marked the highest meal delivery total, at 356.
