Friday Night at the Museum

Story of the Junction Canal told at Friday Night at the Museum. Pictured is Matt Carl Manager/Curator of the Bradford County Historical Society introducing Mary Ellen Patterson Kunst, Town of Chemung, New York Historian. Mary Ellen presented a very interesting and informative program to a very large audience at the museum on the Junction Canal which ran from Athens to the Chemung Canal in Elmira. Mary Ellen had informative visuals and stories about every aspect of the waterway. The next Friday Night program at the Bradford County Museum will be on July 19. Jim and Marie Parks and Bud Smiley will present a concert of World War I music. Please call the Museum 570-265-2240 to reserve a seat for the program. The Friday Night at the Museum programs are presented free of charge and are sponsored by the Bradford County United Way.
