United Way celebrates successful campaign

United Way of Bradford County held their annual meeting on February 25 at the Towanda Country Club. The 2020 Campaign was announced as a great success, raising over $545,000 for Bradford County nonprofits. Awards were given to over 20 companies, with several Valley businesses receiving recognition for being in the United Way Top 20, including Guthrie, Chesapeake Energy, Tops Friendly Markets, and C&N Bank. Several Valley businesses also generously supported the United Way campaign by donating prizes for the “pledge to win raffle” including: The Sayre Theatre, Plants N Things, C&N Bank, Tops Friendly Markets, Dandy Mini Marts and The Morning Times.
