David J. Campbell Sr., 55, of Sayre, Pa., formerly of Athens, Pa., passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2008 as a result of an ATV accident.
    Born March 26, 1953 in Sayre, Pa., the son of the late Frank T. and Bernice Westbrook Campbell.
    Dave enjoyed woodworking, farming, hunting, and fishing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed gardening, camping and four-wheeling. He was a social member of the VFW Post 6072, Asylum Township.
    He is predeceased by his parents; brothers, Morris Cron and Benjamin Cron Jr.; two nephews, Bruce Rockwell and Benjamin Cron III; and a sister-in-law Susan Brewer.
    He is survived by his wife, Sis Campbell of 15 years at home; children, Stephanie and Ramon Berrocal, Milton, Fla., David and Amy Campbell Jr., Rome, Pa., Jaime Campbell, Montour Falls, N.Y., Chris and Bobby Jo Brown, Sayre, Pa., and Les Blair, York, Pa.; grandchildren, Antonio Berrocal, Edward Solomon III, Wyatt Campbell, Camryn and Corbin Brown, and Christian and Gavin Blair; sisters, June Rockwell, Smithboro, N.Y., Naomi and Henry Dolan, Deland, Fla., Martha and Lester Bouse, Towanda, Pa., and Janice Nelson, Columbia Cross Roads, Pa.; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
    Friends and family may call on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 1-3 p.m. at the Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens, Pa. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Thursday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James Donahoo officiating.
    Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery, Athens, Pa.
