Suzann F. Neuheller, 90, formally of Athens Twp. passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008 at the Skilled Nursing Unit in Towanda. Born November 14, 1917 in New York City, New York, the daughter of the late Frederick and Marion Young Furman. She was a member of the Waverly First Presbyterian Church and numerous clubs and organization over her many years.
She was predeceased by her husband Philip who died February 18, 1992 and her son Philip Jr. who died October 14, 1993.
She is survived by her daughter Jan (Richard) Blauvelt of Waverly; her adoptive daughter Bertha Slivinske of Sayre; her grandchildren, Todd (Robin) Blauvelt of Waverly; Scott (Amanda) Blauvelt of Barton; Shane Blauvelt of Liverpool, NY; her great-grandchildren, Ashleigh, Austin, Brady, and Faith Blauvelt of Waverly, Wyatt, Abigail, and Trevor Blauvelt of Barton.
A time for gathering with family and friends will be Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 from 10 to 11 a.m. The celebration of Sue’s life will follow the visitation with a close family friend, Rev. Martin Bovee who will honor her memory at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers you are asked to consider sending flowers to your special love one, not to Suzann’s funeral. It is also the family’s wishes that any memorials be given to someone that may have a special need. Those wishing may send a sympathy message of remembrance for Sue’s family.
