    Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know….Our loving wife, mom, grandma and sister Patricia J. Beers, 63, of Watkins Road, Millport, N.Y., passed away  on Thursday morning, July 3, 2008 following a courageous battle with cancer.
    Pat was born on July 4, 1944 in Endicott, N.Y., a daughter of James P. and Florence (Connelly) Reynolds. She was a longtime employee of ISTC in Horseheads. Devoted to her family, Pat treasured the time spent with them and especially enjoyed the many visits to Seneca Lake. In addition, she also was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed crocheting. 
    Pat is survived by her husband Carl of 45 years; her daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Michael Pack of Woodsfield, Ohio; her dog “Buddy”; her grandson, Seth Pack of Woodsfield, Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Jim Crain, Gloria and Jan Park, and Darlene and Fred Capel, all of Rome, Pa.; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bernard and Frieda Beers of Athens, Pa.,  Rita Smith of Niverville, N.Y., and Vickie Reynolds of Rome, Pa. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends also survive.
    Pat was predeceased by her parents and her brother Jimmy Reynolds. 
    Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services and celebration of Pat’s life on Sunday, July 6 at 1 p.m. at the Sutfin Funeral Chapel, 273 South Main St., Nichols, with Pastor Ron Dyer, officiating. Interment will be in the South Litchield Cemetery, Bumpville. A period of visitation and sharing memories will be held on Saturday, July 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
