Eloise L. Bahl of Elmira, N.Y., passed away Sunday, June 29, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Donald W. and Fannie Belle (Marvin) Lahnum.
    Eloise was predeceased by her brother Eugene Lahnum.
    Eloise is survived by: her children, Catherine Collins of Corning, N.Y., Jeanne Jennings of Columnia, Md., Theresa Bacon of Elmira, N.Y., Wiliam P. Bahl of Nichols, John A. Bahl Sr. of Sayre and Timothy Bahl of Mauriceville, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald Lahnum of Coldwater, Mich.;  Othel Lahnum of Nichols and Kenneth Marvin of Tekonsha, Mich.; along with several nieces and nephews.
    Eloise was a communicant of Ss. Peter & Paul Church. She was a volunteer at Bragg Towers (Dining Services), was a past VP of the Bragg Towers Tenants Association and was very active within the Bragg Towers community.
    There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to her Memorial Mass on Monday, July 7 at 11 a.m. in Ss. Peter & Paul Church. Rev. Walter Wainwright will be celebrant.
    A luncheon will be held immediately after the Mass in the Ss. Peter & Paul Parish Center.
    In lieu of flowers, those wishing may remember Eloise through donations to the 5th Floor, Skilled Nursing, St. Joseph’s Hospital, 555 E. Market St., Elmira, NY 14901.
