Local squad makes run to tourney final

The Lady Lightning 10U softball team recently made it to the championship game in the Horseheads Summer Blast softball tournament after winning four consecutive games. After losing a hard fought game to EYOTA, the girls placed second in the tournament. Lady Lightning consists of girls from all around Bradford County and includes three players from the Valley.
