NICHOLS — A captain and crew tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13 at Tioga Country Club, Nichols, in memory of Brent Kitchen who died of leukemia in 1990. The registration fee is $25 per golfer. There is an additional charge for greens fees and carts for non-members.
Check-in is at 8 a.m. and a shot-gun start will take place at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be provided. Prizes will be given for first place, closest to the pin, longest drive, and a hole in one.
Raffle tickets will be sold in the weeks prior to the tournament and the winners will be announced afterwards, along with the winner of the 50/50 drawing. Individual and business sponsorships are available. For more information, please use one of the contacts below.
We are committed to helping cancer patients in financial need who are treated at Guthrie Healthcare System or the Guthrie Clinic. The golf tournament proceeds will be donated to the Brent Kitchen Memorial Fund, which is set up at that facility.
