Katelyn Serfass can go down in the books for having a great day with not only a team win, but also pitching a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts and no walks with Mackenzie Hafer catching.
The Athens Little League All-star softball team played against Potter McKean on Friday and walked away with a 5-1 win and a trip to the championships against Troy on Sunday.
Kiersten Horton led her team with two singles and a run while Kristen Colegrove and Hafer each had a single with Colegrove adding two runs. Savannah Babcock scored a run and Elyse Skerpon scored a run as a pinch runner for Serfass.
Pitching for Potter McKean was Kira Nolder who had five strikeouts and nine walks with Jesse Riedmiller catching.
Cheyenne Kio scored the only run for the team.
Athens will play at Troy on Sunday at 4 p.m. if they win this game they will be playing at home on Monday for the Championship.
